Smart Contract Demo – Testnet Access Guide

Step 1 · Prepare your wallet

  Install or open an EVM-compatible wallet like MetaMask in your browser.

  • If you don’t have it, install from the official browser extension store.
  • Any wallet that supports EVM testnets will work (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.).

  This demo uses Celo Sepolia Testnet. All tokens here are for testing only and have no real-world value.

  In MetaMask, enable Test Networks:

  • Click on the network dropdown (top of MetaMask).
  • Open Settings → Advanced.
  • Turn ON “Show test networks”.

Step 2 · Add Celo Sepolia Testnet to MetaMask

  Manually add the Celo Sepolia network:

  • Open MetaMask → click network dropdown → Add network.
  • Choose “Add a network manually”.

  Enter these exact details:

  Network Name: Celo Sepolia Testnet
  New RPC URL: https://forno.celo-sepolia.celo-testnet.org
  Chain ID: 11142220
  Currency Symbol: CELO
  Block Explorer URL: https://celo-sepolia.blockscout.com

  You can also visit Celo explorers like https://sepolia.celoscan.io/ for transaction info if supported.

  Click Save. MetaMask will now switch (or allow you to switch) to Celo Sepolia Testnet.

  Network added successfully – your wallet is now ready to interact with the demo on Celo Sepolia.

Step 3 · Get free test CELO (gas token)

  Open the official faucet:
  https://faucet.celo.org/celo-sepolia

  • Paste your Celo Sepolia wallet address from MetaMask.
  • Complete the captcha and request test CELO.

  Faucet tokens are for testing only – they have no real value and cannot be sold.

Step 4 · Get & import the demo test token

  Ask us for demo tokens:

  • Send us your Celo Sepolia receiving address on WhatsApp.
  • We will send you some test tokens for this demo.

  These demo tokens are only for testing this software. For real launch, contracts can be deployed on mainnets like BSC, opBNB, Polygon, Tron, ETH, Celo, FTM, etc.

  Import the custom token in MetaMask:

  • Open MetaMask → Assets tab.
  • Click “Import Tokens” → choose Custom Token.

  Paste the exact address above. MetaMask will auto-fill Token Symbol & Decimals if possible, otherwise you can ask us.

Step 5 · Connect and test the smart contract

  Now you’re ready to use the demo:

  • Open our demo website / dApp (where this guide is hosted).
  • Make sure MetaMask is on Celo Sepolia Testnet.
  • Click “Connect Wallet” (if there is a connect button).
  • Test the available functions – deposit, withdraw, transfer, staking or whatever is enabled in the demo.

  All transactions here are on Celo Sepolia testnet – they do not use any real funds.
